I am trying to find how to change the water line in the feezer door of my Kenmore model 106.58585890. I have gone to the sears website and have pictures of the doors and ice maker. I removed the bezel and 4 screws for the water dispenser but it doesnt come out. I can't figure out how the inside of the door can be disassembled. Thank you in advance for any help

I have a GE and in the course of troubleshooting it looks like I have a blockage in the water line in the freezer door. I thought of removing the liner from the inside of the door but this forum has said that the door is foam filled and therefore may not be serviceable.
Not much help but I think we are on the same road.

For the heck of it I unhooked the line at the bottom. I pulled out the bad line and was able to run the new line without a problem. It was nice of them to put it in a channel. An easy fix after all.

That's great news! - but how did you know that the top end made a good connection?

the top side is the nozzle, the bottom comes out of the hinge and hooks up behind the lower bezel

Hmmm, I'll look closer at mine but the nozzle seems to be a different type of tubing and when I pull on the tube running up through the door the nozzle doesn't move at all.
Maybe your Kenmore is different. Thx & I will look some more. It would make life easier.
