 My GE dryer heats great but when drying clothes has an annoying loud sqeaking noise. The wetter the clothes or heavier the load the louder the sqeaking. What should I replace to fix my problem? Could it be the felt or bearings? What is the felt for anyway? How can I purchase a manual?

Open the door and remove the screw on each side of the door frame, holding the top panel. Lift the top panel up and remove the screw on each side of the front panel. Remove the wires to the door switch and remove the front panel. Check the front bearing (#313 on the break down diagram) and the slides (#316 on the break down diagram). It is a good time to clean the dryer. Here are the break down diagrams for the GE dryer Model DBXR453EV0WWGene.

It could also be the rear bearing. They also have a wonderful history of needing to be replaced. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
