The fridge is warm and freezer has frost build up on back wall. I ran the diagnostic test through the control panel and it shows a defrost thermostat short. I also did a forced defrost and the fridge started cooling again. Would this indicate the defrost thermostat is bad or the defrost timer is bad?

You can test the thermostat with a multi-meter. It should be closed when it is cold. If open you will need this part. Part number: AP4009073

I have a similar problem. I've replaced both parts listed. Thoughts?
