I had a broken latch and opened the control panel to reveal the door mechanism. I replaced it, but found that the about half of the screw bosses on the control panel had snapped during the opening process. I released the ribbon cable in order to remove control panel and got a small shock (I know, I should have disconnected the power).
When I put the control panel back on, it was dead - no LEDs. I figured I had either fried the control panel or the main board. I ordered a replacement control panel and put it in (the power was off this time), but no luck.
Did I blow the main board? Is there a fuse or reset somewhere that might have tripped? Any suggestions?

Many of theses units do have a fuse on or attached to the control board.
Will need a complete model number to confirm this. |
