I have a portable Maytag dishwasher that worked fine until one day I decided to use the light wash cycle. It seems like ever since then, it won't let me choose a different cycle. Otherwise it works fine. How can I fix this?

A model number may help others help you.
Could be the key is stuck closed. Also may be a control board problem. |

Don't know what you mean when you say the key could be stuck closed.

The key on the keypad when not pressed should be infinite ohms (open) When you press is it should close, 0 ohms.
So if it always closed the unit thinks it should do a light wash all the time. |
