While replacing door handle, I accidently broke one of the door latches. I replaced with new door latch and now when door is closed the inside light remains on. I have unplugged multiple times, and that doesn't help. Display panel shows no error. I can still set the clock and turn fan and under light on/off, but cannot coko because I get beep sound.

What could it be?

Hello,

Sounds like you have an issue with the door switches, they will cause this issue. If you have a volt meter you can test the switches. Microwaves hold a lethal voltage even unplugged. If you don't have high voltage experiences you may want to hire this out to a technician. Below is a link if you feel up to it.
