my dishwasher is little over year old so no longer under warranty. first problem with it i had 1 month after purchase when thermal fuse went out. it worked ok since until yesterday and it seems to be the same problem. i am thinking to replace the fuse myself this time as it is 100$ repair for 15$ fuse ant 5 minutes of time of repairman. i guess i can do it without but any instructions i would feel more confident. also what might be causing thermal fuse to go out? last time service guy told me it is the cold weather outside which doesnt really makes sense. thanks

Bran,

I'm guessing, but the fuse operates on two theories, heat(like a regular themostat, and amperage draw, like a one time fuse(mostly).

My guess would be, either a loose connection in the power supply, or wire harness, or a low voltage situation(possibly due to the weather and voltage drop due to usage).

Part number: AP4423189
Part number: AP4423189

Just remember, when you install the fuse kit, install all the parts(including the wires) and make sure your connections are tight.
