Bought this dishwasher new in January 2010. A couple of months ago some of the button on the keypad would not light up but we managed with "normal wash". Tonight I tried to start it and nothing happens. I checked the circuit breaker and everything else recommended in the manual--still nothing.
From reading around on this forum, I gather the keypad or main control is shot? Anything I can do without calling a serviceman?

Remove the bottom panel and check the power cord connection to the dishwasher. Using a voltmeter, verify 120 VAC at the dishwasher junction box.
If there is nothing wrong then very likely the problem is a bad control panel but there is a small chance for the control board to be bad as well.
If you need the correct part number for the control panel, post the color of it.
