Me microwave stopped heating yesterday. All lights and Controls light up and the fan runs and the turn table turns. I know from reading about this unit (microwave over oven) that it has a fuse but I wouldn't think everything else would work if it was blown. How do I test a or where do I start.

OK, I poked around on this. Problem is top door micro-switch. In mine, the spring had lost its springiness, causing the switch to remain open (ie, not closed and conducting juice). I removed the switch (opening control panel to get to it), bent the spring, put it back and... voila! Oven working again.

Repairman who stopped by earlier on this said he needed to order a $200 part to fix, plus his time, and there would be no guarantee it all would work. So, I suppose a spring in a micro-switch is kind of expensive these days, eh?
