The wiring diagrams for this model in not available on line due to its age.
What happen to the old thermostat and why you can not just switch the wires from the old thermostat to the new one?
Are the terminals on the new thermostat marked?
How many wires was connected to the old thermostat?
Gene.

Old Tstat mechanically failed making broiler operation hit-&-miss. My connection notes made during removal are incomplete and suspect. New Tstat has same terminals as old and are: 7 C 1 2 5 6 9 BA BR There was a jumper connecting 5 & C (I think) 1 & 2 should be power and were White wire & Red wire (I think) 7 had a White doubled with another White (I think) 9, BA & BR side had the remaining White(s) [and perhaps a Black] wires connected but I don't know to which terminal(s)
Tstat was too expensive to burn up with incorrect wiring.
Gene, Can you save me???

Can you trace each of the wires to find exactly where it goes and post the results?
Some of the wires can have two colors. As the example: the white wire with the red strip - WH/R.

I can trace wires. I am so far into this thing I need a wiring diagram. If you don't have one, do you know where I can get one? Thanks,

The only way to get the diagram is to call Magic Chef.
