Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/10/2011(UTC) Posts: 2		The oven heats up with all knobs turned off. There are no indicator lights on showing that it is heating. The self cleaning is not on and the door is not latched. I have cycled all the knobs and controls and turned the breaker off to reset any settings.

Is it only one element on or is it cycling back and forth between the elements? Is the element heating up fairly evenly along it's length?

Its both elements inside the oven. Both elements are heating up evenly.

Check that the wires from the control board to the elements are OK. Could be one of them is shorting to the frame. If the wires are OK then I would say that your control board is shot (Item 16 in Section 1). It has the relays that control the elements on it.
