NO SMELL ( or sound) OF GAS. Separate range top has gas flow./works.OK.
NO SPARK. when thermostat is turned up.
WHEN I TURN THERMOSTAT DIAL , ORANGE LIGHT GOES ON.
OVEN LIGHT WORKS.
flat type igniter.

I Just turned down the thermostat , during cooking, and failed to re- gnite. This , after a grease burn off that produced alot of smoke(?)

Most likely the problem is a weak igniter.

- The part number for the igniter is AP2934763

You have to use the mounting bracket from the old igniter.
