our kitchenaid superba is not superba anymore; it is leaving food particles on dishes and then that gets dried onto surfaces. i've read elsewhere about replacing/cleaning various parts, and i have downloaded the users manual, but i need some help (diy) on what I can take apart and how to do it. can someone point me to a diy instructions or give some tips on what I can do? I have tools, and am reasonably capable, and very well trained (I am a psychologist...). thank you.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KUDS01IJBL0 UNDERCOUNTER DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is a service manual

The first thing to check would be the holes in the spray arms.

Then check/clean the filters and the chopper/impeller in the pump.
