I have GE Triton XL Dishwasher Model # GSD6200JO1WW and I can not get the water to drain out of the basin. I believe the pump is broken as it was making a lot of noise prior to it quitting. What do you think?
Additionally, do I need to be using the large hard plastic drain hose that it came with? It is not very convenient were I had to use it last so I took it off.
Thank you,
GWW-1

Thank you,
GWW-1 GWW, You probably had a small piece of glass or debris in the drain pump and damaged the impeller, or motor windings. Part number: AP3192221
As for the drain hose, If it is not kinked or collapsing from the hot water, you can get by with the one you're using, but were it me, I'd replace it . Good Luck, :) :) :)
