Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/23/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		Hi all. I searched for the answer before I posted but could not find anything. I hope I did it right. Here is my problem: I have a Frigidaire slide-in cooktop model# FES365ESB. I think it is made by Electrolux? It has a 6"/9" expandable element located at the front/right. I think it is also called a dual radiant element? Anyways, The inside element (6-inch) does not turn on at all. I can turn on the outside (9-inch) one. Does anyone have any idea on what this could be?:confused: I have worked on standard coil element oven ranges but never a cooktop. If I decide to tackle this project I hope I can find the answers here. I'm gonna have to. I can't afford to have it repaired.:( Thank you to all.:)

If it is OK then the probable cause is the control. Unless of coarse there is a bad connection going to that element.
