Hi all. I searched for the answer before I posted but could not find anything. I hope I did it right.
Here is my problem: I have a Frigidaire slide-in cooktop model# FES365ESB. I think it is made by Electrolux? It has a 6"/9" expandable element located at the front/right. I think it is also called a dual radiant element? Anyways, The inside element (6-inch) does not turn on at all. I can turn on the outside (9-inch) one. Does anyone have any idea on what this could be?
I have worked on standard coil element oven ranges but never a cooktop. If I decide to tackle this project I hope I can find the answers here. I'm gonna have to. I can't afford to have it repaired.:(
Thank you to all.:)

Hi,
I have the same problem with my Frigidaire slide-in cooktop model# FES365EQ. It's just over 1 year old. Is this the switch problem or the Radiant (heating element) problem? Appreciated. Thank you.
