Now the panel is blank (no lights whatsoever) and door is still locked. Breaker had not tripped. I manually turned breaker off and back on, but no change. KitchenAid KEBS278D.

Our KitchenAid was in a cleaning cycle, and all the lights went out on the panel. Electrical breaker did not trip, but I turned it off and on again anyway. Oven door is still locked, and no lights are displayed.:(

There is a thermal fuse behind the front control panel, and another one on the back of the case under a skin. Both were shot. Technicial said they were protection from overheating. With the service call and parts, the total was just under $200.
