Did you ever resolve your issue? Seems like we are in the same boat. We did a cleaning cycle today. Now the panel is blank (no lights whatsoever) and door is still locked. Breaker had not tripped. I manually turned breaker off and back on, but no change. KitchenAid KEBS278D.

Looks like we had the same problem, and I'm wondering what you did to solve it. Our KitchenAid was in a cleaning cycle, and all the lights went out on the panel. Electrical breaker did not trip, but I turned it off and on again anyway. Oven door is still locked, and no lights are displayed.:(

Ended up calling for service. There is a thermal fuse behind the front control panel, and another one on the back of the case under a skin. Both were shot. Technicial said they were protection from overheating. With the service call and parts, the total was just under $200.
