This oven is 30 years plus but has worked well for the last 16.

I have replaced the bake heating element that had a hunk burned through.

The new element and the broil element would only slightly heat. Removed the new element and measured the following from the three leads: Hot lead #1 to ground wire... 125V: Hot lead #2 to ground...0 volts: Hot lead to hot lead: 125V.

I do not have a schmatic. Is there any kind of fuse or breaker in the control panel that will restore the voltage?

Thanks

Tony,

You may want to start from verifying 240 VAC to the oven. Measure the voltage at the oven terminal block.

If there is nothing wrong then the problem is a bad oven thermostat or a bad oven selector switch. Without a schematic the only way is to trace the hot lead with 0 volts reading to see where it goes.

Thank you Gene. I will track the wire since there is 220v to the second oven.
Thanks again
