This unit was moved ( rolled )to replace the kitchen floor.
Unit was just unpluged when rolling to new spot 5' away.
1 week later ( no problems in new location ) unit was rolled back.
Spent some time vacuming under unit ( tumble weeds)
Unit's ice maching made ice no problem.
First sighn of problem ICE CREAM soft!!
tried to turn to colder setting.
Freezer side is all clean now , every thing melted!!
So what gives???

Sean,

Does the compressor on the back of the refrigerator work? Is it cold, warm or hot on touch?

Does the refrigerator make any noise?

Are the fans inside the freezer and next to the compressor working?

We went into the refrig side and turned the unit to the off position.
No way to do this to the freezer side.
The comprossure shut down, we kept it off for a couple of minutes.
Turned it back on and it seams to be blowing colder air?
The fan down below the freezer is blowing like a sunof a gun!

So now the unit both fridge and freezer seams to be on the fritze.
Under the freezer in front the air coming out is cold.
The fan seams to be the only thing going I think.

Don't do anything. Let it run for about 24 hours and check the temperature in both compartments.

Both fans are working.
The one in the freezer behind the panel.
The one under neath aiming @ the small tank.
There is a clicking noise and the tank hums a little the clicks and all is quiet.
This cycles.
Will let it run for a while.
Thanks

I have the exact same issue and was wondering if a cause was determined? Compressor? Thermostat? It just suddenly started going through this 5 minute cycle of humming, click, nothing, repeat. No longer cold just that cycle.

Did you move the unit or unplugg it for a short time?
We had unplugged it to move it 5' then nothing.
We unpluged the unit for 24 hrs to let every thing settle.
Plugged it back in and all has been working great!
Hope this helps!

It was moved but was still plugged in. It also did not start doing this right after we moved it so the issue seems isolated from moving it. I'm hoping Gene can chime in again and help you and I figure out how to solve.
