Hi All,

I have a ARG7600WW amana oven that just broke down on me. I have 0 knowledge on ovens. I read through the posts and it seems I may need a bake ignitor.

Broiler and gas tops work fine. When I try to bake the bake ignitor glows orange, but no gas is coming out. I am trying to get soem direction here -- please help!!!!

Replace the bake ignitor, because it is weak, and will not send the message to the gas valve to open. Once you replace it, I will be over for some Biscuits. PS Unplug the stove before you replace it. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
