I started noticing my oven takes a long time to heat to temp. So I tried using the convection but that is taking long also. Can this be repaired?

Trisha,

Yes it's repairable.

You could probably do it yourself, and save a lot of money.

Do us a favor and select the Broil cycle, and tell me if the oven heats ?

I'm guessing(hoping) you have a weak bake burner igniter.

Part number: AP4012072
Part number: AP4012072

You may also want to check the bake burner and igniter operation yourself ?

(remove the oven bottom panel, and you'll have access to the burner assembly)

It should take 30 to 60 seconds after you make a bake selection, to ignite the gas, on the burner, longer than that, you've got a weak igniter.

Good Luck,

:) :) :)
