washer dischager backs up in drain so i sleeved tubing over it and discharge hose, no more back up but now it seems like theres a vacum on the discharge hose because it drains as it fills after 1st agatation cycle. any ideas folks .....thaks

The drain line needs air flow to drain properly. you need to remove the sleeve part you put on and check you household drain for a stoppage if you are getting a back flow.
