mfg 665, Whirlpool. Remove door cover from inside and replace the wax motor? nothing to clean or unclog?

[COLOR="Blue"]Remove door cover from inside and replace the wax motor?[/COLOR] I would check the unit for a mechanical fault also could check the wax motors for resistance. Most of them are around 2,000 ohms. [COLOR="Blue"] nothing to clean or unclog?[/COLOR] Probably not but worth taking a look. Part number: AP3044293
