Help!! We have a Magic Chef electric stove. One of the burner areas on the glass cooktop is cracked. Is it OK to use the top just not that burner until we can get the top replaced? How complicated it it to replace such a cooktop?

Donna,
you should be ok using the rest of the cooktop unit you can replace the "glass", it's actually a ceramic material. Post your model number so we can look at your exact unit.
