Dear Sir,

I am having trouble with the lid switch. The washer fills properly but once filled the washing cycle does not start. I need to depress the lid switch and keep it depressed thru out the cycle. You have three parts that refer to the lid switch: AP4026359, AP3094142, AP4026296. My question is which part or parts am I liking to need to complete the repair?
Thank You,
Johntooth:) :)

There are two switches in the lid switch assembly - the lid switch and the check switch. You have to check them for continuity to make sure they work properly. Then you have to adjust them so they will work according to the wiring diagram. You can find it in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...r/558-maytag-washer.html
