I need to replace either drum roller or the bearing for Maytag gas dryer. I'm stuck with the top panel to access the drum. I could not find a diagram to open it. I removed 3 screws from the back, and it can be lifted few inches. But pulling it backward to open it not working. Can some one please help.
Thanx

Thanx I believe on this one you take the 2 screws that hold the bottom front panel on. Once you remove the panel on the bottom side of the front will be 2 screws on each side. Remove them, and then pull the bottom of the front panel towards you, and at a 45 degree and the top will drop out. Then you have to remove the blower assembly, by removing 4 screws 2 on each side. The remove the belt, and then pull the drum out. I bet the idler pully well is bad. But since you are in there, replace the rollers too. The parts are not that all expensive.
