I purchased this used refrigerator, and when delivering they tore one of the hoses from the filter head assmbly. They repaired (rigged) it and the water came through the door like it is suppose to. About an hour later, it stopped and hasn't worked since. I'm not sure if it's not functioning or if the filter is clogged, or what. What would be the best way to diagnose the problem?

Without seeing what they did, and what water line goes where, im afraid you are going to need to seek refrigerator repair help from someone in your home

On some models a filter is required for proper operation, and in these cases they usually include bypass cap so you can continue to get filterless water. Just to be clear, it is not a generic one size fits all cap, it is model specific and usually came with the refrigerator originally.
