I'm not sure which model GE fridge I have but it's a side by side refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, water dispenser etc. and it's 6 years old .The freezer works fine but the fridge is freezing all the food and I guess it froze up the water line too because no water will come out of the despenser. Might this be a bad thermostat inside the fridge that controls the compressor?

Any ideas?

Could be a number of things. A model number helps a great deal. :)

My firg is freezing up. The freezer is fine what is the problem.
