My frig was not cooling. Looked in back and saw dead mouse caught in condenser fan. Is the fan shot (how can I find out ?) or do I just need to replace relay, start device and or capacitor?

If your fan isn't running and the compressor is then change the fan motor. Mice can do BAD things to an appliance.

Make sure all the coils near the compressor(condenser coils) are clean use a brush & vacuum to clean them.

Cleaned the coils. Everything runs. Still the unit doesn't get cold enough to freeze water. Could something else have gotten zapped when the mouse clogged the condenser fan? Thanks for your time and expertise

Check the fan in the freezer make sure it's running and see if there's a lot of frost or ice buildup on the back of the freezer compartment. it's possible the mouse may have chewed some wires before getting in the condenser fan.

Nat, No ice buildup. Freezer fan is working. Things get cold, just not that cold.

The mouse stopping the fan may ave overheated the compressor and weakened it.
