Does anyone have and thoughts as to why my convection fan decided to quit? The oven heats up just fine but the fan does not turn. Any help would be appreciated.
Also I our service people come out to check on our ventilation draft for the stove top grill. When I grill the kitchen gets smoky and the blower doesn't seem to take care of the smoke. They said that the install looked just fine. They did mention that the fan on the exhaust seems to run quiter than most of these Jenn air stoves. Ther is not a whole lot of difference between the HI/LO settings on the fan. Again, any help would be appreciated.

Hi Cathy,

The convection fan motor has to be removed and the motor windings have to be checked for continuity. If there is nothing wrong then replace the control board (aka clock) after all wires to this motor been tested.

- The part number for the convection fan assembly is AP3868135

- The part number for the control board is AP3480663

Here are the break down diagrams for the Jenn Air range Model JDS9860AAP
