The refrig section of our side-by-side is below freezing. The damper door will not close when it should. We have changed the thermistor and the control board, but the door still stays open. I bought a new damper assembly from this site, but it is different from the original. In particular, the old damper motor has two wires ending in a female harness end, but the new motor just has two prongs within a shell, as if it needs a female harness end. So how do I attach the new motor? I believe I see how to shift the other wiring to the damper assembly (a ground, probably, for the motor, a two-wire plug, and a single-wire plug).

The reply does not tell me how to connect the motor to the existing wiring. The original part has two wires (hardwired), with a plug to attach to the wiring harness. The replacement has only two prongs. Is there a short piece of wiring harness to connect those prongs to the existing harness? I can't believe I'm supposed to solder wires to the prongs.
