The freezer door likes to stay ajar about a half inch. I figured the self closer needed adjustment. When I took the top hinge off (three screws) there was no tension at all. There seems to be a broken plastic or nylon piece on top of both hinges (although the fridge side still closes OK) and I notice a small hole, maybe 1/4 inch, on the top of each door, next to the hinge. I figured there is something that slides onto the hinge pin and locks into that hole. But I see nothing in the parts diagrams.

This fridge is falling apart but as far as a fridge freezer goes, it runs fine. I need new drawers and guides, new handles and the water dispense leaks, but it cools and freezes great. Unless the door stays ajar. Then everything defrosts!
