I have a maytag refrig. The freezer inside door keeps frosting up an I have ice on the top of freezer. The seals are good an no one left the door open. It seems to be worse in warm weather. If someone has any suggestions it would be appreciated! This has a adaptive defrost heater. Does any know how to turn the defrost heater on? Thanks!

There is no easy way to force defrost on this. Take the freezer temperature and post. I would use a hair dryer to defrost the ice and look for a partially blocked vent or a blocked air return vent behind the crisper drawers.

I checked the door gasket it seems o.k.. This refrig. has ice &water through the door. I'm wondering maybe the ice chute door is sticking open! I've had 2 times in the last 6 yrs. where the inside door has frosted up top to bottom. Thanks for your help!
