I've checked the following for continuity:
Thermistor (highest reading at 9K Ohms, at 70 degrees)
Heating coil 10.5 Ohms
Thermistor
Thermal fuse
Thermal cut-off
Power cord to inside control panel
Outlet is 3 prong and tests 110 volts output on each pair.
Your ideas will be greatly appreciated.

The parts inside the dryer are Whirlpool. The retailer's website does list this model.

the one other thing right off would be heater relay located in the console of dryer part number 3405281 if all else looks good thats normally the problem

Test the element, thermal cutoffs and thermostat fix for continuity, without wire leads on. That will tell you which part(s) are bad.

Nat, I appreciate your advice to check components with all wires disconnected, but that was how I checked them. I realize that some may not know to do it that way.
Iamigor, you are absolutely right!
I checked the heater relay and, sure enough, it was open between all 4 terminals.
Would it do any damage to any other components, if I swapped the heater relay with the motor relay (same parts) and held the on switch in, so loads of clothes can be dried, until a new part is obtained?
