ge model tfs22ppdabs.
defrost is not working.
i replaced timer and heater element. timer is new and OK, it advaces. heater Ok too, checked and has right ohms, heats when i put juice from a house outlet.
wires to the heater have juice when the timer is rotatated to the click position.
yet, the heater does not heat when is connected to the wires in the freezer which do have juice, heater heats when connected directly to an house outlet.
what is wrong?

Temporarily short the defrost thermostat wires and see if it now works.
