Superba washer stops in mid cycle. Usually finishes wash cycle then stops but not always at the same point in the complete cycle. I would guess it would be a timer problem but would like toknow if it is likly to be anything else? Thanks Evan

It does sound like the timer. But to be on the safe side make sure your both tap valves to your hoses are open, because if one is closed let,s say cold, and the rinse is set on cold then the timer will stop half way in the cycle..

If it's stopping at different times I have a few other questions?

Does the timer advance after the washer stops?

Or after it stops can you continue the cycle from that point after a period of time?

Will the washer complete a cycle with a small load w/o clothes?

Nat. Thanks for your reply.
Sometime the timer advances later and sometimes not.
Usually after a period of time you can advance the timer and complete the cycle.
The size of the load doesn't seem to make any difference.

Thanks for your help, Evan

Evan
See if you can see how many amps the washer is drawing thru the cycle. Sounds like the motor is overheating.
Does it still feed power to the motor after the unit stops in mid cycle?
