The Support Arm broke on my old Maytag. I received the part without any instructions. It looks simple enough, but I'm not sure what to do with the rubber seal that shipped with it. It might be obvious when I take it apart, but I thought maybe someone has dealt with it before. Thanks for any help!

CC16,

How's about a part number for the part,

So we can give you a better idea of what to expect.

Thanks,

CC16,

In your case you wont need the gasket/seal, just the support arm.

The gasket was included in the kit for older units, it was not needed on your unit, because there was a re design of the pump assembly and cover.
