Problem described: first we noticed the frig temp seemed too warm, but it was already on almost "hi" cool. So we turned it all the way up to "hi" cool, but it frooze my lettuce in the bottom drawer. We turned the temp dial to off to try to reset it. Now the freezer keeps going through the defrost cycle and melting all the ice in the trough, and the food in the frig is too warm, not matter how high we set the dial. after a long time of turning the controls off and than on it will work for a period of time and then the whole cycle repeats
thank you:confused:

Remove the rear cover and the front bottom grill and clean the condenser coils. You will need a special condenser cleaning brush which you can probably by in a hardware store. Set both temperature controls on the middle settings, wait about 24 hours and measure the temperature in both compartments using a mercury refrigerator thermometers. Post the results. - The condenser cleaning brush Part number: AP4320046
