I have a MDB7100AWB that has been working fine for the last 7 years. Now all of the sudden it will not complete a wash cycle in any mode (including auto clean). It consistantly stops at 85 on normal wash & at 65 on light wash and then clicks/buzzes about every 3 seconds, like it wants to continue - but never does. The only cycle that it will complete is "rinse only" - because it's only 8 minutes long. Any clues as to what to try? Is it worth trying to fix at this age (7 years)? I am pretty handy/mechanically inclined so I can dig into it if I have to!

Where this noise is coming from?

I would recommend to check the current drawn by the motor. If it's more than 2.5 amps then the motor is bad. If it's less than 2.5 amps then the control board gone bad.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag dishwasher Model MDB7100AWB
