Hi again Gene,
Checked the wires, romoved the caps and retightend everything, ... still the same problem. When it starts (did this time after 7 tries) ... will run only in the NORMAL cycle. No high temp wash, that is I can't engage it to do so, will only run in the "normal cycle" mode.
At least I know it's getting current. So the level issue is out, the switch issue has been taken care of ... only thing left that I can think of is the selection keypad for operating the unit or some kind of a relay.
What do you think? Time for an overhaul? Okay, that's alright for me but what about the dishwasher!!?
Best (and thanks again)
Paul

Paul, Since you got it to work in one cycle only, I would have to say the control board. Part # 99003360 from this site the part #'s would be AP3885665 or AP4114988 My thoughts are that the power isn't going thru the control board for the cycles. If you've checked all the connections and they are tight with no corrosion that has to be the problem. I woud try cleaning the connections one more time before ordering any parts to be certain. The easiest way I know is with a regular pencil eraser. Make sure not to bend any of the contacts. Nat
