Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 8/13/2008(UTC) Posts: 3,097		Sounds like you are having a defrost problem, if your model has a defrost timer advance it unitl the unit turns off and remove the rear panel in the freezer and look at the heater element see if it is on, test the defrost thermostat while it's cold. Post your results and wecan figure out which part(s) you may need. Nat

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 8/13/2008(UTC) Posts: 3,097		Due to the type of heater you have(which this type rarely fails) I wuld say test the defrost thermostat, located by the evaporator coils with an ohm meter it has to be cold to test. If it's not the thermostat it's probably your adaptive defrost control. Nat

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/21/2008(UTC) Posts: 4		make sure the cold air inlet into the frig is not iced over. Inside the freezer part at the top right is a small plastic cover. remove cover to check if passage into frig is open. Good luck.
