Washer stopped spinning. Checked agitation not working either. Washer fills and drains fine. Took back off, found shock struck broken. Replaced both. Still not working. Called support line, they indicated the speed control board. Called repair person he thought so as well. I ordered part installed it still nothing. What next? The timer or the motor? HELP HELP HELP. Need washer back in service fast.

Pull the front kick panel and check the service sheet. You will find a diagnostic test for this problem, may be a bad door switch.

Do you have a link for the repair manuals for this. I am looking for the motor thermal cut out. I ran the Tests from teh sheet and there is no voltage change so it indicates look at teh moter thermal cut out. Where is it.

This is a part of the motor and you have to order the whole new motor to fix the problem. - The part number for the motor assembly is AP2107525 Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire washer Model FWT647GHS1Gene.

Thanks for the information. I found that my volt meater was not working correctly. I found a wire that was rubbed and shorted on the chasie. It goes directy to the door switch. I am hoping that is it. I have an old door switch that just had a broken plastic part in it I am going to try to piece it together.
