Respectfully Nat, YOU are INCORRECT!!!!! In order to remove the front panel on a MAYTAG A613 you HAVE to remove 2 screws at the BOTTOM FRONT and pull the panel OUT at the BOTTOM, it will UNLATCH from the top!!!After the FRONT panel is removed!!! THEN and ONLY THEN you can remove the 3/8 headed bolts(1 in each front corner of the TOP) and lift the TOP!!!! Thanks for your help!!!!
