Hello dear friends in forum,

I am having trouble with a Viking vgr48-6(very old model with griddle, 6 burners, broiler and two burners) I believe it was made by us range. Anyways, I am helping a friend who asks me to do a complete overhaul in the stove. I am having trouble getting any sparks sounds or anything from the range. I cleaned the 3 spark igniters and they are very clean. I replaced the spark module Harper-Wyman, Kool Lite model 6521, 120V, 4ma. With a Maytag ignition module, part number AP204776 from your website. I have read in previous post that the spark module would work well as a replacement for the kool lite 6521.
The problem is this: I do not get any sounds or sparks after properly installing the new module.
This is what I have done in order to solve the problem:
1. I check The gap between the igniter and the burner and it look ok less than two dimes thickness.
2. I also made contain that the spark igniter’s lines were properly connected.
Am I missing something?
Please advice,

Make sure there is proper voltage coming to the range. Try to bypass any of the ignition switches.

yes!

Thanks your your info.

I also check to voltage with the new module. It was 17 volts in two and 13 on the other two. This particular module has four.

Maybe, I did not check the voltage correctly, It was a little odd to get to different voltage reading from my module. However I did remember checking the voltage readings 3 times.
