My GE Profile Spacemaker 2 microwave died. It does not power up.
The outlet it is plugged into is working fine.

The Unit is less than two years old and cost me about $1,000.00

I can only assume it is the control board. Would this be a dificult part for a homeowner to replace?

Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd check the fuse first, part # AP2631556. If it's not powering at all.
It's located near the Capacitor(be careful not to touch, it can bite) and the fan.
