the buzzer is supposed to go off when clothes are finished, the spin cycle keeps on going and the buzzetr is suppose to go off again but it doesn't, what can be the problem.

Check the buzzer for continuity and replace if it's open. If there is nothing wrong then replace the timer. - The part number for the buzzer is AP285069 - The part number for the timer is AP285078 Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag dryer Model MDE8416AYWGene.
