Hello, my dryer Capacity Plus Admiral LNC7766b71 will not stop without manually switching it to off or opening the door. Previously, the dryer timer did not advance nor allow for cooldown cycle, etc. We replaced the timer yesterday, and now the timer advances, it sets off the buzzer and even performs the cool down cycle, however, after the buzzer goes off, the dryer continues to tumble until I open the door or manually switch it off.

Any suggestions on what might be the next course of action?
