The model number you supplied is incorrect according to the Sears web sight. Depending on the icemaker in your unit, I would have to think, you have a shorted mold thermostat or a damaged control module on the icemaker. We can better serve you, if you supply the model number off of the serial tag on the inside of the fresh food compartment. :(

( looks more like a serial number). How old is this refrigerator ? Could you take a digital picture and attach it to your next reply, so we can varify everything with or through Sears. We'd appreciate it greatly. :) :) :)

Bloozfann, Thanks for the model number, made things a lot easier. Did you notice any water or ice dripping from the ice maker? Running water or ice on the ice cube chute, or in the bin ? As I understand your complaint, the cube extractor arm continues to run(never stops) and no water is injected into the ice maker to make cubes. If all that is correct, you have a failed mold thermostat, and or control module or both. I would reccomend you replace the ice maker(complete), instead of attempting to repair or rebuild the assembly. Part number: AP3182733
