Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/26/2008(UTC) Posts: 2		This is a 3 year old Frigidaire Gallery washing machine. The model/serial number is posted on a non-permanent label inside the washer lid (bad location), and it is no longer legible, so I have been unable to determine the model. However, about two times out of three uses, the machine locks up when it is supposed to spin, resulting in the motor overheating and smelling. I can open the lid, and give the tub a manual spin, close the lid, and the cycle resumes successfully. The next wash load may complete without issue. But the machine cannot be left alone as I'm sure it would burn out the motor is left unattended during one of its "problem cycles". How can I determine what is causing the problem? Thanks.
