Hello, I have a Maytag Atlantis washer that will not fill with water. I checked the hoses and there are not kinks, and I did clean off the screen (which was clogged) but still won't fill with water. Any help is most appreciated!!

I assume that you did not make th same mistake I did once, shut the water off to disconnect the hose to clean under there and when I reconnected the hoses, forget to turn the water back on? Took me a while to figure that one out. Try disconnecting the hoses from the washing machine (after you turn the water off), put the end into the washer, and turn the water back on. Do you get water that way?

Here are your parts Replacement parts for MAYTAG MAVT754EWW Washer, Atlantis | AppliancePartsPros.comWhat have you tried so far? Try different temperature settings, to see if both hot and cold do not run. Try Finger Faucet to see if you can manually add water. Try the Cold/cold with ATF off. Try different water level settings. Does the unit show any signs of life, could be a lid switch problem. Does the unit not fill but continue a cycle. This would indicate that there is a problem with the water level switch (welded contacts in the switch). The unit then thinks that it is already full so will not add more water. |
